On 30 October 2025, we hosted an online webinar where technical consultants presented findings on traffic, hazards, bushfire risk, and social impact assessments. The webinar was recorded and is available for catch up viewing.
The project is a large-scale solar energy development and is considered a state significant development (SSD). As such, it is subject to a comprehensive assessment that includes extensive community consultation and detailed consideration of any environmental, social and economic impacts. Further details about the process can be found in the Large-Scale Solar Energy Guideline (Department of Planning and Environment, August 2022).
The NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) has issued the Secretary’s Environmental Assessment Requirements (SEARs). These requirements outline the technical studies and assessments that must be completed as part of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). Following submission of the EIS, DPHI will likely request additional information as part of their review process. The EIS will then be publicly exhibited online via the DPHI’s major projects website, with community notification through newsletters and official channels. All technical assessments have been conducted strictly according to state planning and environmental guidelines.
DPHI controls exhibition timing; however, we have requested to schedule the exhibition of the EIS from February, as requested by the community.
Documents are available on the Major Projects Planning Portal.
